I am a college professor in the medical field. Many years ago, when I lived in Kenya on the Island of Lamu, my husband and I made jewelry to support ourselves. My oldest son moved back to live with his dad recently and I travel back and forth annually. I've gotten back into making jewelry and expanded to driftwood sun catchers and wind chimes using African and other beads. I have an Etsy shop and I use the proceeds to help the family in Kenya.
